Background & About Me
Hi! I’m Kat, and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I became a therapist because I’ve always been drawn to helping others. Over the years, I’ve come to realize just how powerful a well-timed question can be–sometimes, the right question can completely shift how someone sees themselves or their situation. As a therapist, I enjoy working with my clients to help them connect with their authentic selves.
I bring curiosity, warmth, and a balance of insight and humor to my work. I love creating a space for clients where they feel comfortable and heard – sometimes through laughter!
I’m a proud SoCal native. Beach, mountains, desert? Yes please! When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll probably find me reading, indulging my sweet tooth, or attempting to teach my pup new tricks! Currently taking recommendations to try the “best cinnamon rolls ever” (my new fixation!)!
What Clients Can Expect
I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who loves getting curious about people’s stories. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel comfortable being yourself. Together we’ll build a trusting relationship that allows for honest reflection and real growth. I meet you where you are, and we move at a pace that feels right for you–no pressure, just collaboration!
My style blends acceptance, curiosity, and genuineness. I strive to meet my clients where they are, collaborating at a pace that feels challenging yet realistic and safe for you. I look forward to helping you find acceptance and peace!
