Heather Schultz

APCC

Hi! My name is Heather, and I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). I became a professional clinical counselor because I always have had a strong desire to help others and believe that mental health should be prioritized just as much as physical health. I am passionate about helping clients develop healthier behaviors, coping skills, perceptions of themselves, and improved relationships.

Throughout my career thus far, I have gained experience working with a broad range of clientele. My specialty is in working with children and adolescents. I also regularly work alongside clients of all ages and varying difficulties and diagnoses!

When I am not in the therapy office, I am usually found going to botanical gardens, hiking, reading at coffee shops, adventuring to new places, and spending time with my family and cats!

What Clients Can Expect:

In our work together you can expect a warm, safe space that is judgement-free, collaborative, supportive, and where you can feel understood and empathized with. My goal is to tailor sessions to meet the unique strengths, needs, and goals of each client.
