About

About Me

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. When I was young I always said I wanted to help people when I grew up. As I embark on my road to licensure I focus on doing just that. If you are hoping for tools, support, or just someone to talk to, I am here to work with you to be the best version of yourself.

I started my practicum experience in Kenya in 2024, working with children through young adults. Planting seeds of resilience and holding hope was all I could do in my short time there, but it showed me the power of empathy and connection. Since then, I have continued to work with individuals of all age ranges. I have assisted adolescents through individuals many years my senior to manage emotions, support their family systems, and find their voice.

What Clients Can Expect

You may be wondering, “where do we even start?” I am here to work with you to achieve the goals we decide on together. Therapy can seem big, but it really is a conversation. You are the expert on you, and I am the expert on the theories. Together, we will put together game plans with tools to assist in your goals. We will unlock your confidence and validate when things get tough. What matters most is where we go from here. I am here to hope with you as we embark on this journey together.

My Approach

I use multiple theoretical approaches based around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy primarily. I also draw from Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, as well as Gottmann in order to create an eclectic approach tailored to the individual. I was a photographer and videographer for some time so I incorporate creativity into my practice whenever it seems most helpful.
