About
Hello, my name is Neal Clark. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology-MFT from Pepperdine University. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions.
Starting therapy can feel daunting. With this in mind, I prioritize building strong rapport and offering client-centered care to create a welcoming, collaborative space where you feel safe to explore, heal, and grow.
My clinical experience includes working with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, emotion regulation, adjustment issues, self-esteem problems, eating disorders, body-image issues, substance abuse, suicidality, self-harm, neurodevelopmental disorders, bipolar disorders, relational challenges, and issues stemming from problematic structural family dynamics.
I use evidence-based, trauma-informed, and goal-oriented approaches in my work with individuals, couples, and families. I hold extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also utilize approaches from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques. For couples and families, I draw from Structural Family Therapy, Bowenian theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method.
You deserve a personalized approach tailored to your unique goals. From our first session, we will collaborate to find what works best for you. If you are ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out to schedule a session. I look forward to meeting you where you are and helping you get where you want to go.
