AMFT

“I hold a firm belief in the inherent capacity for growth and transformation present within every individual. In the therapeutic process, I hold space for the possibility of profound change, nurturing a mindset that honors the unique journey of each person I work with. I am dedicated to creating a space where clients can experience the freedom to live fully and authentically.

My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, with Internal Family Systems (IFS) as the primary framework guiding my practice. Rather than pathologizing behaviors, I support clients in approaching their internal world with curiosity, compassion, and respect. My goal is to help clients develop a deeper relationship with themselves—one rooted in understanding rather than shame.

I also integrate DBT Informed skills, attachment-based perspectives, and somatic awareness into my work. This allows therapy to be both exploratory and practical, supporting emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and increased capacity to navigate relationships and life transitions. I value structure when it is helpful and always collaborate with clients to create an approach that aligns with their needs, goals, and pace.

I work with adolescents and adults, including those navigating anxiety, trauma, self-harm behaviors, identity exploration, low self-worth, and relational challenges. I have particular experience supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed by internal pressure, conflicting parts, or deep self-criticism, and I strive to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental.

At the core of my work is the belief that healing happens in community with others. I approach therapy as a collaborative process and deeply honor each client’s lived experience. I aim to create a space where clients feel seen, validated, and supported as they explore who they are and who they want to become.

My work is also informed by a commitment to social justice and liberation-oriented care. I believe that personal healing is deeply connected to the broader systems we live within, and I strive to hold this awareness with care and humility in the therapy room.

As bell hooks writes, “A love ethic presupposes that everyone has the right to be free, to live fully and well.” This ethic guides my work and my presence as a therapist. I am committed to holding space for growth, healing, and transformation, while honoring the resilience and wisdom each client brings into the room.”
