After navigating my own mental health journey in my 20s, I was exposed to a variety of care techniques which motivated me to work within the healthcare space as a means to rebuild connection between client and patient with authenticity. While there are hundreds of psychotherapy modalities, I believe in curating a method that is personalized to you and combines proven techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused techniques, mindfulness, and somatic practices. Along with my current pursuit of a PhD in Counseling Psychology, my background includes 15 years of leadership experience in healthcare administration where I built specialized programs as long-lasting solutions to community health challenges. As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I bring culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care that takes a holistic approach fortified by my education, professional expertise, and lived experience.
