Kim Moberly


I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and I’ve been practicing since 2014. I am driven to help others reach their goals and make changes that will positively impact their life through the process of therapy. I work with client’s providing individual, couples, and family therapy who are seeking help for their mental health and wellness, to improve their relationships, and adjust to major life challenges. In the past, I have worked extensively with women to assist in empowerment and healing from past wounds. However, my passion is people and I enjoy working with anyone who is seeking to create new meaning and experiences in their lives. I have also worked with individuals in CalWORKs helping them overcome mental health issues to return to work, and adults struggling with addiction and mental illness.

Making changes to one’s life can be both uncomfortable and exciting. I am here to help you get through the toughest parts so that you may live a life that you feel good about. I strive to provide a safe and supportive space to help you heal past wounds, overcome difficulties, and cope more effectively with painful emotions. If you desire and are open to growing and changing, I can assist with teaching you new ways to cope, think, feel, and be in the world.

My approach to therapy is eclectic, using different therapy styles to meet the needs of each client I work with. I bring to my sessions tools and techniques from Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and more. I’ve also been practicing yoga for around 10 years and  will often incorporate techniques of breathing, meditation, grounding, and mindfulness into my sessions.

For those struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal issues, life changes, or other issues, my main focus is to provide you with the quality and style of therapy that best suits you. I help build confidence in my client’s ability to bounce back from challenges, alter negative beliefs that no longer serve you, and live a life that feels more fulfilling both personally and within your relationships.
