Kelsey Kingsmore

AMFT

Hello, my name is Kelsey Kingsmore and I am an (AMFT) Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University.

I have experience working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, relationship/self-esteem issues, life transitions, loss of identity, emotional dysregulation, and grief. When working with these types of disorders I tend to work out of modalities such as (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (DBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, (IFS) Internal Family Systems, Client Centered approaches, as well as providing psychoeducation and coping skills.

My personal belief is that therapy provides a unique opportunity for individuals to seek self growth and heal from past life experiences. With this, I also understand how difficult it can be to reach out for help and find a therapist that works for your individual needs. As a mental health professional, I strive to encourage, support, as well as create a welcoming environment to all of my clients who are struggling with mental health. My passion in this career field is to help each client reach their full potential by providing support in navigating life’s unpredictable circumstances.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
