AMFT

I believe that everyone has a story and that sometimes events happen during the course of our lives that cause us to be in situations that we do not know how to overcome. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space in which clients are encouraged and welcomed to share their story with me in order to learn more about themselves and how they want to proceed into their next chapter. Everyone deserves to feel seen and have their story heard, and therapy is a unique and helpful space for this to take place.

As a clinician, I have experience working with teens, college students, adults, and families who are experiencing difficulties that include anxiety, depression, life transitions, communication barriers, emotion and behavior regulation, or a need for social skills training. I utilize an eclectic approach rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and also consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

Every person is unique and has their own story, so it is my goal to tailor my treatment approach to each client that I work with. I also believe that everyone is the expert of their own experience and that the path to mental well being includes open and honest communication. Therefore, I strive to make therapy a collaborative process in which my clients feel safe and empowered to ask questions and make suggestions in order to take ownership of their growth and understand what we are working towards together. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you!
