Caley Bailey

LMFT

I know how difficult it can be to reach out for support when you need it most, so, let me first start off by saying that I appreciate the insight and courage you have shown by taking this first step towards finding a therapist that will meet your needs.

My name is Caley and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (License #124709). I earned my B.S. degree in Psychology and Sociology from Northern Arizona University and earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. I received my early training from the UC San Diego Eating Disorders Center for Treatment and Research and continued my clinical work with the UC San Diego Center for Healthy Eating and Activity Research Clinic. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with eating disorders and coexisting disorders such as depression and anxiety at various levels of care including Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient treatment.

I am passionate about working with people who are dealing with general life/relationship stressors, experiencing symptoms of depression or anxiety, experiencing difficulties in their relationship with food and body image, or are struggling with symptoms of binge eating disorder or bulimia nervosa. I take a strengths-based approach and work collaboratively with my clients to understand their hopes and goals for therapy which allows us to develop a personalized treatment plan. I use a variety of evidence-based treatments in my work including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples.

I take great care in building trust with my clients and creating a safe environment where they feel comfortable exploring the vulnerable parts of themselves and their lives with me. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to hold space for my clients as they work towards personal growth and fulfillment.

I would love to connect with you and be a resource for support on your therapeutic journey.
