Healing in therapy is a holistic process that involves addressing the interconnected aspects of a person’s well-being—mind, body, and spirit. It focuses on fostering balance, wholeness, and integration across these dimensions. By exploring and understanding past experiences, thought patterns, emotions, and physical sensations, therapy aims to promote self-discovery, growth, and a sense of harmony. Ultimately, the goal of healing in therapy is to cultivate inner peace, resilience, and a deeper connection to oneself and others.
I view the therapeutic process through a lens that promotes individual autonomy while acknowledging the deeply rooted conditions that tether ourselves to our environment as social beings. From this context, I aim to establish a therapeutic relationship built upon a foundation of trust, mutual respect, compassion, and safety. My goal is to help you learn to accept what is out of our control, commit to actions that enrich your life, and develop psychological flexibility. Clinically, I pull from a wide array of modalities to meet specific client’s needs consisting of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Family Systems. These approaches have allowed me the opportunity to support individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. I look forward to connecting with you. I’m here to support you on your journey towards living a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
