Tara Gehler is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist CA#48833 and AAMFT Approved Supervisor #242163 with over 20 years of experience in counseling, supervision, and program leadership across community-based and clinical settings. She provides individual, triadic, group, and live supervision to graduate-level trainees, associates, and licensed clinicians, fostering growth in self-of-the-therapist work, case conceptualization, and the application of evidence- based practices. Tara has served in key supervisory and leadership roles with WAVE Therapy, Community Research Foundation, and Fred Finch Youth Center, overseeing Wraparound programs, clinical teams, and therapist training initiatives. Known for her reflective supervision style and commitment to culturally responsive care, Tara is dedicated to developing competent, ethical clinicians who deliver high-quality, client-centered services. She holds an M.A. in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University and a B.S. in Community Health Education from San Diego State University. Tara has been married to her husband for 29 years and is a mom to three daughters and one son. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, going to the beach, spending time with family and watching her kids many sporting events.
