As we move through our lives, we are presented with moments of challenge and moments of opportunity, and I believe my job as a therapist is to help you prepare for both. Often, we are left feeling isolated and unsure of how to move forward, lost without the awareness or understanding of what we need to do to generate change in our lives. In the therapy room, we will have the opportunity to explore together the most important relationship you have – the one with yourself. My goal as a therapist is to help each of my clients understand themselves better and gain the awareness of the strengths they already have and empower them to use them to continue to manifest a life they feel is fulfilling and worthwhile. By knowing ourselves, we become able to greet what comes our way with confidence and assurance. We are the experts of our own stories, and therapy provides us the tools and insight so that we may grow and enact worthwhile change.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and completed my Master’s Degree at Alliant International University’s California School of Professional Psychology, and have been working with clients since 2019. My clinical experience has provided me the opportunity to work in several diverse settings; including working individuals who had been incarcerated, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and in several substance abuse treatment settings.

I typically work from a Narrative Therapy and Collaborative Language Systems approach therapeutically, as well as utilizing interventions from CBT, DBT, and attachment theory; but work from a client-centered approach to assure that we are working on what is most important to you in our sessions. I have found a passion in working with adults of all ages, addressing issues of identity, life transition, trauma, grief and self-acceptance. Working with couples also is another professional passion, I want to help you and your partner make sense of your relationship and help you both address your concerns and build a solid, secure and fulfilling commitment together.

I aim to create a space for you that feels safe and confidential so that you can unburden yourself from holding it all alone. Allow yourself to take a breath and schedule a session to see what we can do together to help; I look forward to working with you.
