So stressed you’ve forgotten who you are? Anxiety weighing you down and getting in the way of your relationships? Perhaps it feels like you can’t quite break this pattern & you feel stuck in a rut. Everything you have tried just isn’t working and you continue to feel stressed, anxious, & unhappy. You don’t have to feel this way. You can feel less stressed, and less anxious. It is possible to rediscover your joy and passion. Relationships can flourish. I use an empathic person- centered approach. I understand the importance of authenticity and trust in relationships. I build strong therapeutic relationships to help clients feel safe and supported while navigating life challenges.

Those who work with me find that they quickly feel at ease & that I am empathic, present, and understanding. Together we discover “ah ha” moments, leading to greater understanding of oneself and others. I also sometimes incorporate “Heart Math,” a form of biofeedback that helps to re-pattern the nervous system to reduce anxiety & stress. I received my MSW from San Diego State University and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have experience helping families to improve communication, providing personalized parent coaching and support (in particular helping parents who have children with developmental disabilities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD). I also help people learn skills to self-regulate and assist clients with interpersonal and relationship challenges. In my practice, I use a wide variety of interventions, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based CBT, Non-Violent Communication, hypnotherapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Brief Family Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT and art therapy.

I am passionate about helping people increase their functioning, align with their life purpose while providing support to help people to grow, expand and connect more deeply within themselves and with others. In my free time, I enjoy writing, spending time in nature, and practicing yoga. I am a professional public speaker and an author of several children’s books and a book of poetry to support self-realization.
