Maybe you find it hard to get out of bed everyday and are experiencing depression, overwhelming sadness, and cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe you are having difficulty coping with your emotions and are participating in addictive, self-destructive, or high-risk behaviors. Maybe you have had significant life changing events and need support through these trying times.

I am here to help.

Considering counseling takes courage. Working on oneself can be challenging, but is also what I consider to be one of the most rewarding experiences in life.

I have years of experience working with couples, families, and individuals. I have worked with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues including, but not limited to, anxiety and depression, severe and persistent mental illnesses, addiction, and relationship concerns. I believe in fully accepting my clients and helping them grow toward a healthier future. I strive to meet my clients where they are, to identify their needs, and build on their strengths.

I believe counseling to be a collaborative effort between counselor and client. It involves being authentic with one another. This includes sharing information, past experiences, emotions, and concerns. With this willingness to share, distressing areas can be acknowledged which allows necessary areas of change to be identified. I work to create a safe space where each client feels understood and safe.

I have worked with many individuals, couples, and families to better their lives through tenants of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness, along with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). This assortment of techniques allows me to fit your sessions to your individual needs.
