I believe that all individuals hold the key to their own happiness and possess the power to change their lives for the better. My greatest reward as a therapist is helping my clients explore ways to make changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope. There are times in all of our lives when we need guidance and support in evaluating a situation, understanding our needs, recognizing our thoughts, and identifying what needs to change. I provide my clients with that warm, non-judgmental environment — a safe place to explore the issues that may be preventing you from living the life you want. Developing healthy coping strategies and improving our overall mental health requires mindfulness in our present day life.
I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2005 and have a solid foundation in working with individuals and families for over 18 years. Some of my specialties include mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, parenting, grief and loss, and educational issues. I approach therapy from an empathetic, logical, person-centered perspective. Through a collaborative effort with the individual, couple or family, I incorporate principles from cognitive-behavioral, family systems and solution-focused modalities.
I look forward to working together with clients and feel it is a privilege to have the opportunity to join them on this journey toward a happier, healthier life.
