Life can be filled with unexpected obstacles that might lead us to feeling stuck and looking for direction. Allow me to join you in exploring unresolved life experiences from the past to gain new insight and understanding on life in the present. We will work together to shift thinking and actions attributed to these life experiences to a more positive, realistic adaptation.

As a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and mental health provider, I have a combined 15 years of experience working with adults, children, teenagers, groups, couples, and families. I earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from National University in Carlsbad, CA and a Bachelor’s Degree specializing in the Behavioral Sciences from Ohio State University. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). My approach is strength-based, warm, relatable, empathetic, and person-centered. I understand that every person has unique qualities and I tailor interventions to meet your personal needs and goals of therapy. I am also a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).

My treatment experience includes challenges with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, relationships, grief and loss, and education. I use evidenced-based treatment modalities from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Other treatment modalities include Gottman methods, mindfulness, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and art interventions.
